Introduction

Kuule (“we”, “our”, “the App”) is a mobile application that provides location-based audio tours and spot information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

Location data (explicit permission required)

Kuule uses your device’s foreground location to show nearby locations and (when you start a tour) to detect proximity to tour spots so the app can open spot information and play audio automatically. Location data is used on-device in real time; we do not transmit your continuous location to our servers for tracking purposes.

Local device storage

We store simple settings on your device (for example language choice and whether you have purchased access). These are stored locally on your device only.

Media and assets

Audio files and images used by the app are bundled with the app or loaded from trusted asset locations. Playing audio requires device audio output but we do not record audio.

Payment information

If you purchase access via Google Play or Apple App Store, payment processing is handled by that app store. We do not see or store your payment card details.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide the app’s functionality (maps, proximity detection, playing audio), remember settings, and enable in-app purchases. We may use optional analytics or crash reporting only if you opt in; these will be documented and an opt-out offered if implemented.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. The app uses third-party services for some features (for example Google Maps); those providers may collect data subject to their own policies. Please review the privacy policies of third-party services used by the app.

Data retention and deletion

Local settings remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. To delete local app data, uninstall the app or use your device settings. For other requests contact us (see below).

Security

We use standard security practices. Because some data is stored locally on your device, secure your device using OS-level protections.

Children

Kuule is not intended for children under 13. If you are a parent and believe a child provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy here and change the “Effective date”.
